Family Update - September 2012

Hannah During our morning devotions on the Father/DaughterCanoe Trip

We are days away from the summer officially giving way to fall, and it would be an understatement to call this past summer "busy."
  • We traveled 6000 miles
  • Programmed and/or participated in 10 camps and trips
  • Trained and discipled 12 junior counselors who in turn discipled countless other boys and young men (following the example of 2 Timothy 2:2).
  • We encouraged, equipped, and challenged father's to lead and love their families
  • Boys and young men came to know Christ, and we challenged many more to live lives  fully committed to Christ.
This is also my first September as a full time regional director so the weeks that I've been home have been packed with meeting the men and ministerial staff who will be heading up the CSB discipleship programs at their local churches this fall.

These men are amazing! They sacrifice their limited time and energy because they

recognize the vital importance of being purposeful in the training of the next generation of boys and young men and many of them have been doing this tirelessly for decades! Please pray that these men will be protected from the efforts of the enemy to undermine their work and that their efforts would be blessed bountifully.
