Junior Leadership Conference

You'll be tired of your Christmas toys by then! Join me at The Junior Leadership Conference Dec. 28-30 and learn practical leadership skills.

We challenge our young men to be Christian Leaders but often leave them wondering exactly how to do so. This conference is intended to provide practical strategies to help equip young men for their important call to Christian leadership.

In an action packed setting this three day event is intended to help equip the young men attending to pursue Christ-like leadership. Team building, games, small group Bible studies, leadership seminars, service opportunities and a challenging and practical key not speaker are topped off by seriously amazing food.

No one attending this conference will leave without being better equipped to lead, inspired to serve, and very well fed!

KEY NOTE SPEAKER:

This year we have the privilege of having the President of CSB Ministries, John Launstein, as our key not speaker. John was the owner of "Rocky Mountain Rod Company" a specialty fly fishing and outfitting company prior to coming on staff as the President of CSB Ministries.

His experience out in the far reaches of the Canadian wilderness provide John with amazing stories that are often peppered throughout his presentations. It is doubtful you will ever meet someone who has encountered more bears than John has. John is also an accomplished and award winning nature photographer.

I have personally heard John speak and you do not want to miss this rare opportunity to meet him in person.

It is NOT necessary that the young men attending be involved in a CSB program. The event is open to any young man between the ages of 12 and 18. If you are younger than 12 you must be recommended by a Brigade senior leader, pastor, or you can contact me a to discuss. davidbgregg@hotmail.com

Begins 2:00pm Wednesday, Dec. 28 and concludes 2:00pm Friday, Dec. 30.

Big Valley Church 4040 Tully Road Modesto CA.

FOOD?

That’s a highlight of the JLC! Kristy Nass will again be in charge of the kitchen, so expect to eat exceptionally well! Meals provided will be Wednesday supper through Friday lunch: fresh bread, pies, a full turkey dinner and more!

 WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?

Bring sleeping bag, air mattress or foam pad, tennis shoes, gym shorts, towel, toilet gear, notebook, pen, personal gear, a Bible and a Battalion uniform shirt, Adventure Trails or Leadership Trails book (if you have one). The church has showers available. We will be sleeping on the floor of the Sunday School rooms.

WHAT WILL IT COST?

The sooner we know attendance, the better we can plan for food and
materials. So, to get you to register early, here’s our plan:
